The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) represents nearly 1,200 two-year, associate degree–granting institutions and more than 13 million students.
The Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, relying on membership fees and contributions from corporations and foundations to help maintain its programs and provide important operating revenue. AACC also receives program-specific grants from foundations, U.S. government agencies, and other outside sources.
