 Coalition of Affiliated Councils 

The Coalition of Affiliated Councils (COAC) is constituted to promote communication, cooperation and collaboration among the leadership of the Affiliated Councils and between the Affiliated Councils and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC).

The COAC brings together the resources and expertise of varied professional groups who work
in the community college in order to support AACC activities and initiatives. The COAC is a freely-associating cooperative of the duly elected or appointed representatives of the recognized AACC affiliated councils. Duly elected chairs and chairs-elect (or other designated representatives) are automatically eligible to participate in the activities and work of the COAC.

The COAC shall select a chair, chair-elect and recorder/secretary in order to facilitate group activities and meetings.
