POSITION -- Since 2006, President of Lincoln Land Community College, a public institution with nine locations in a 4,115 square mile radius representing 15 counties in and around Springfield, IL.
PREVIOUS -- Served as president of the Community College Alliance and vice president of the Virtual Campus for Franklin University in Columbus, OH; Provost of the Lawrenceville Campus, assistant academic vice president for Continuing and Corporate Education, and Chair of the Department of Nursing at Georgia Perimeter College, a multi-campus institution in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Served as dean for nursing, Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia.
AFFILIATIONS -- Serves on local boards/councils: Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Q5 Strategic Leadership and Executive Councils (business, education and workforce development arm of the chamber), Christian County Economic Development Board, United Way of Central Illinois, Mid-Illinois Medical District Commission, Memorial Health System Corporation, and the Diabetes Advisory Council of Springfield Clinic. Also serves on national councils: presently on the AACC Commission on Communications and Marketing and the AACC Sustainable Education and Economic Development Councils; past member of the AACC Workforce Development Commission.
