Quote from the President
“Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, has long been one of the driving forces in south-central Pennsylvania. Annually, we serve more than 75,000 individuals within the region at five physical campuses and a very robust virtual campus. We enjoy phenomenal community support in every one of our host cities. What’s more, we are known and appreciated as the leader in credit and noncredit workforce development in the region—something that the college and our communities view with great pride.”
- HACC offers nearly 200 associate and transfer degrees, certificate, and diploma programs in an eight-county service area, serving more than 23,000 credit students.
- More than 900 military veterans and their dependents attend HACC, more than any other institution of higher learning in Pennsylvania.
- More than 55,000 students are enrolled in noncredit areas, such as job training, workforce and economic development, customized company contracts, public safety, technology trades, computer training, and adult education.
- HACC is the region’s largest educational provider for nurses, allied health professionals, law enforcement, and other first responders.
