Staff or other representatives of member colleges interested in having their college profiled in AACC's Community College Spotlight are welcome to contact us before they submit profile information.
Before you contact us, here are instructions to help streamline the process:
STEP 1
Confirm if your college is an AACC member. Go to the Community College Finder and enter your college’s name. If your institution is there, your membership is up to date. Proceed to step 3.
STEP 2
If you are unable to find your college in the Community College Finder database, your membership is not current. Please contact our Membership Department and speak with Wayne Horton (202.728.0200 x236; whorton@aacc.nche.edu) who will assist you in getting your membership updated.
STEP 3
Once your membership is confirmed, send an email to Matt Dembicki and Anna Miars. We will send you a document that specifies what we will need from you and a submission deadline (typically two weeks).
STEP 4
After you have submitted the required information, we will create a profile page for your college and put it in the publication queue. We ask that you zip all of your files together to reduce the overall size of the attachments you send. If you have questions about how to do this, contact your IT department. Your place in the queue depends on when we receive all of your files as well as how many other colleges are also in line to be featured. We try to accommodate special requests for timing. We will contact you to let you know when your school will be spotlighted.
We feature a new college every Monday, displaying that college's logo on the AACC homepage for the duration of the week. On the following Monday, a link to the college's profile is added to the Community College Spotlight Archives page.
