Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) serves a 4000 square mile district at its main campus in Springfield, the vibrant capital city of Illinois.  Springfield is centrally located between Chicago and St. Louis and is home to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum as well as numerous historic sites and cultural events. LLCC also provides educational services at the Springfield East Center and the Capital City Training Center, both in Springfield, and at facilities in Taylorville, Jacksonville, Beardstown, Litchfield and Hillsboro, Illinois.  LLCC enrollment for 2009-2010 was over 17,000 full- and part-time credit and non-credit students.
