Colorado Mountain College, a local community college district, covers all or part of six counties in north-central Colorado. We offer two-year degrees for transfer and career tech training, and began offering bachelor’s degrees in 2011.
The Colorado Mountain College district is as diverse as it is beautiful. Located high in the Colorado Rockies, we deliver a personalized college education to residents of 12,000 square miles. Our 11 locations serve communities ranging from world-class resorts to centers of mining and oil & gas production. In addition to eight commuter sites, CMC offers three residential campuses.
Colorado Mountain College is ranked #17 in the nation by CNN/Money for student success among more than 800 two-year colleges. The college is also rated #1 among Colorado's two-year colleges for graduation plus transfer rates.The total headcount, including both credit and noncredit students, exceeds 20,000, with an FTE of approximately 3,500. A supportive, informal, and friendly atmosphere – which is also learning-centered, goal-oriented, data-driven, and demanding – is created through the efforts of a dedicated and highly qualified faculty, staff, and administration.
