Lecturer in American Sign Language

The Department of Speech and Hearing Science seeks a full-time lecturer of American Sign Language (ASL). The nine-month appointment begins August 2013. Responsibilities include teaching four levels of ASL at both the Tempe and Downtown Phoenix campuses, and participating in program advancement. Requirements include a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years’ experience teaching ASL at an accredited college or university. Desired qualifications include five years’ experience teaching ASL at an accredited college or university, experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to produce classroom teaching materials, and experience with digital video production and editing.
