The Board of Trustees invites applications and nominations for the position of President of Isothermal Community College. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer and reports directly to the appointed 15-member board. Isothermal Community College is a comprehensive, two-year, public institution serving Rutherford and Polk counties in the western foothills of North Carolina. Required Qualifications • Earned Doctorate degree from an accredited institution preferred, graduate degree required. • Minimum of 3 years senior level community college leadership experience or equivalent required. • Preference given to candidate with NCCCS (North Carolina Community College System) experience and/or a vested interest in Rutherford and Polk counties.
