Distinguishing Features of The Class:
The work involves assisting in coordination of the Activities/Student Services Department. Work is performed under the supervision of a higher-ranking administrator. Supervision is exercised over para-professional and clerical staff. Does related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of student development and student services in higher education; ability to advise students in the areas of student activities, student clubs, leadership development, orientation, first-year experience, event planning and budget preparation and allocation; ability to work effectively with students, clubs, groups and organizations; good organization ability; sound professional judgment;courtesy; tact; physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree and four (4) years experience in student personnel services or related field.
NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.

AAECC - Salary-$19.85 per hour plus benefits
