Roanoke-Chowan Community College Board of Trustees has announced that the search is underway for the next president of Roanoke-Chowan Community College.

Founded in 1967, Roanoke-Chowan Community College is a comprehensive two-year public institution located in Northeastern NC, where it serves a diverse student population and is student centered.  Ahoskie, NC is located approximately one-hour from the beautiful North Carolina coast and is also a short distance from the Norfolk, VA airport. R-CCC enrolls approximately 850 students in Curriculum programs, 4643 students in Continuing Education and Workforce Development training.  In addition, 127 students are enrolled in the Early College High School program.  R-CCC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and awards associate degrees, diplomas and certificates.
