Job Description: Albany Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness. Reporting to the College’s President and under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for assessing the quality of curriculum and courses within all academic divisions and leads the college’s Complete College Georgia initiative. Coordinates the development of program goals, objectives, policies and standards for quality assurance for the mission and purpose of the college. Coordinates and oversees the strategic planning process, analyzes and assesses the effectiveness of existing programs. Responsible for designing and executing a plan for maintaining accredited status for the academic programs of the institution. Maintains the institution’s components of the Performance Accountability System (PAS). Researches grant and other funding alternatives. Supervises subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must have a master's degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university in higher education or in an occupational supporting discipline such as business administration, educational leadership, or a closely related field. Minimum of three years of full time, paid work experience within the last seven years in the fields of planning and research in education, business, industry, or military environments. Demonstrated skills in training and/or personnel development.  Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must possess and maintain the appropriate professional credentials required for or related to the field or position.

Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants who have experience in curriculum development, instructional methodology, planning, evaluation, budgeting, supervision and management; Doctorate degree in Higher Education from a nationally accredited college or university and Three years of planning research experience in a college or university.
