**Seeking candidates with experience in managing intercollegiate athletics and intramural sports**

General Summary:
Directs student programs including social, educational and cultural development activities, publications, student based media, personal fitness and athletics for a campus.

Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of four years experience. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Experience with programming and event planning. Innovative and energetic. Experience working with students. Ability to ascertain student interests and program to meet students needs. Ability to partner with faculty, staff and students to engage students and complement academic experiences. Strong communication skills. Background in student life and activities as well as proficiency in sports. Ability to create, monitor and maintain budgets.

Job Duties:
1. Develops student programming such as orientations, recognition banquets, cultural events, campus entertainment, etc.
2. Prepares the calendar for each semester in conjunction with campus faculty and staff.
3. Coordinates execution of cultural, social and educational programs including scheduling presenters, contacting vendors, advertising, etc.
4. Plans and conducts student orientations. Assists with tours and provides students with identification cards and parking passes.
5. Assesses effectiveness of student programs and plans future improvements.
6. Prepares, recommends and administers the Student Life budget; oversees expenditures and ensures expenses comply with College policy.
7. Schedules and oversees community use of campus gym and athletic fields.
8. Serves on appropriate campus and College committees.
9. Serves as student government advisor by providing general direction and information for decision making. Receives complaints and resolves problems.
10. Develops student relationships; meets with student groups and advises on projects.
11. Works with students to develop leadership and community service skills.
12. Submits weekly reports of campus activities.
13. Provides direction, support and guidance to the campus athletic area.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
