College Description: Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) is an outstanding multi-campus community college with an excellent reputation for high quality instruction, programs and services. College Associate Dean for Special Programs and External Partnerships
The College Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Special Programs and External Partnerships is a Central Administration position that reports to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, and is responsible for providing robust leadership for the College’s special programming and external partnerships which includes International Education and the Student Success programs TRIO and EOP. This individual is responsible for high school concurrent enrollment partnerships, Excelsior and Early College Programs, as well as all collaborative K-12 programming. The College Associate Dean will work with a wide range of academic and student affairs units in establishing and supporting internal special programming, as well as coordinating and monitoring Advisory Boards for career and technical degree programs. These activities necessitate working across three campuses to manage, coordinate, monitor, and assess the implementation of projects and initiatives in these areas.
