Cloud County Community College seeks a Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Vice President will provide overall leadership to Academic Affairs in the establishment, implementation, and management of instructional policy, curriculum development, academic scheduling and programming, academic program review, accreditation, strategic planning, instructional assessment, faculty development, resource allocation, and working with faculty in a collective bargaining environment. Additional areas of supervision include all online and outreach education, career and technical education, the Library, Student Success Center, TRiO, and academically related grants including Carl Perkins. Active involvement and engagement with state higher education system-wide meetings and Kansas Board of Regents personnel expected. The Vice President shall hold a master’s degree with doctorate preferred. Candidates should have at least five years progressive, administrative leadership experience in higher education at the community or technical college level. Teaching experience at the community college level is preferred. Candidates who have worked in a multiple-campus environment are preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a community college. This position is a full-time, KPERS-covered, 12-month contract position with a benefit package.
