North Lake College opened in 1977 as one of the seven separately accredited two-year colleges in the Dallas County Community College District.  The college’s Central Campus sits on 276 acres in the Las Colinas area of Irving, Texas.   In addition to the Central Campus, three community campuses provide services to the northwest quadrant of Dallas County.    Approaching 37 years of service to the students and communities of Dallas County and beyond, NLC seeks a president who will position the college for the future while honoring its rich history.

North Lake College is a two-year college that is recognized for quality education and its innovative and productive partnerships with businesses, the community and other educational institutions.  Irving, Texas, is home to more than 17 identified ethnic minorities and is one of the most international cities in the country.
