This multi-functional position oversees the direction, long-term planning and operations of the office, while ensuring alignment to the Strategic Plan of the college. Ensures that the information provided is accurate and relevant to the needs of the college community. Provides highly responsible and multi-faceted administrative and technical support to the AVP of Institutional Research, Planning, Effectiveness, and Analytics in a highly dynamic environment.
First review will begin February 03,2014 and will continue until position is filled.
Minimum Education: Requires Master's degree, with course work in an appropriate discipline with an emphasis on quality, program productivity and evaluation of institutional programs and initiatives.
Minimum Experience/Training: Typically over eight or more years of progressively advanced technical and managerial experience in a technology oriented field. Demonstrates success in executing tactical and strategic responsibilities of high-level management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with SAS Business Intelligence Software or other business intelligence software. This might include ETL, cube creation, stored processes, and report creation.
Assists the college community by providing reliable, relevant, and quality data and information to facilitate planning, budgeting, accountability, program evaluation and development of policy decisions.
Ability to address technical issues in technical and non- technical terms, modifying delivery method based on the audience being addressed.
Provide critically important reporting, and planning to support and respond to the needs of the college.
Ability to manage and plan for large-scale technology change in a dynamic environment.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, recommend and implement solutions in a timely fashion.
Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, internally and externally, with high level executives and community leaders concerning computer and information technologies.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
