NPETE-3CP2 will host a 50-minute Ready for Disaster Webinar to encourage community college participation in the Homeland Security-funded Community College Citizen Preparedness Program (3CP2). We will discuss the importance, need and regulatory requirements for disaster preparedness.

Presidential Directive #8, OSHA 1910.38 and the Clery Act will be explained. A FEMA certified two-hour course, developed by NPETE -3CP2, available for face-to-face or online delivery, helps colleges meet these requirements. The Webinar is intended for campus administrators and those responsible for emergency planning and preparedness for all members of the college community.

Participants will receive access to the federally-approved course at no cost.
